Our Story starts from humble beginnings

It all started with a bottle of kombucha—and a need for change.

As brothers, we’ve always had each other’s backs. When Jarrel struggled with gut health from frequent drinking, Darren started researching ways to improve digestion—not just for his brother, but for himself too. That’s when he discovered kombucha, a naturally brewed tea known for its gut-friendly benefits. Intrigued by its potential, he began brewing his own, experimenting with flavours and perfecting the process.


The Elixir's Beginning started from home 

That passion gave rise to The Elixir—a brand built on the belief that kombucha should be both delicious and beneficial. From pop-up stalls to Malaysia’s first in-mall kombucha-exclusive store in Sunway Pyramid, our journey has been about more than just brewing; it’s about fostering a community that values gut health, bold flavours, and sustainability.
